Day 76 – 7am Depart to Bale Mountains National Park – Southern Ethiopia

Indeed a scenic route towards Bale Mountains National Park an excellent newly built road, completed 4 months ago, 174km and 4 hours later we arrived safely. We paid entrance fee and for a guide which is compulsory who would accompany us on our trip whilst driving in the park. We drove about 2.5km to Dinsho our camping spot and set up tents, thereafter did a guided walk with Abu. We spotted warthog, Mountain Nyala and Reedbuck. Bale Mountains National Park is known for its wildlife, particularly the Ethiopian wolf and the Mountain nyala. Over 60 mammal species and 260 bird species have been recorded here.
